Hair Split Ends

Split ends are not nice! They occur when the protective cuticle has been unclothed from the extremities of hair fibers. Split ends are more likely to build up in dry hair, and normal reasons of damage include exuberant dying or over brushing.

Once the hair cuticle is separated, it is hopeless to put back. Normally, the hair splits into two or three strands. The best attention is to cut off the split end of the broken fiber.

But you don’t needfully have to go to the hair salon every time you see split ends. You can do it yourself! Go because everyone does it!

To get rid off of split ends:

  1. Take small segments of hair and cautiously twist them in a mild downward movement. By this method, any split ends will instantly stick out.
  2. Carefully cut into the twist with sharp scissors. Do not cut right through; just cut into the thickness to take out the ruptured cuticles and give a natural stratified/layered effect.
  3. Be sure to snip just about the same amount from each twist.
