How To Tip
While I was reading weight loss success stories, this question came out:
When you tip, is it your obligation to divide it up between shampoo person, colorist and blow dry assistants? Or should your main hairstylist tip them out of the money you give her?
I think it should not be the customers duty to divide up the tip. For instance, when you go to eat at the restaurant, you don’t have to walk around and tip the server, cook, cashier, and kitchen helper. you leave your 20% on the table and go home.
A good and professional hairstylist will take care of all the people who assist her out of her tips.
But sometimes when the service is really nice, I give each one an individual tip, depending on what they do. I usually give higher tip to the one who blow dry my hair because I feel her of the troubles she has to face because I have a thickest hair you will ever encounter in your life time.
