If you have thick and curly or wavy hair and when you try to blow dry and straighten it, the hair gets frizzy and kinky. You have tried almost everything and do not know what else to do any longer? You need help, right?

Put leave in conditioner in your hair prior to blow drying, and then before you straighten, put a small amount of styling wax at the hair ends later on. If your hair is still frizzing, attempt to use a light hairspray at the roots. Give it a minute to set, when you hair is cool and dry, slowly brush it to take out extra product.

You might also want to use a defuser. A defuser is an attachment for your hair dryer. You put it on the head and it decelerates the air that comes out. People with curly hair use it a lot because it doesn’t shaped out their hair with a intense airflow. It dries your hair in a slow manner so you can keep your wanted hairstyle.

As much as possible, avoid to use your fingers to move your hair when you’re blow drying. Just use the end of a hair brush to move your hair into the defuser.

You can also use a flat iron. I believe it is one of the ways curly hair made straight without frizzing and look half way nice.

If all else fails, go to your favorite hair salon and have it permed or just do nothing. Some of us like curly hair too!
