Dear Hairlaloo,
I have thick wavy/curly hair right below my shoulders. I have some layers. My style at the moment matches a longer bob, so to say with a little shape to the face. Every time I get a haircut, I also get it thinned out. The last time I had a haircut, the girl took thinning scissors and completely screwed the middle of my head.

Also, I am sad with the shape of my hair and someone recommended to get it thinned using a razor. Any other helpful ideas?

Hello Lady,
It’s a standard procedure not to use a razor on wavy/curly hair (or any Ferrari parts, hookay, just kidding). Anyway, it really depends on your hair quality itself. If your hair is rough, you can get away with texturizing but if it is fine, it is going to make you look hairless even if you have a lot of it.

If you like your hair longer, there are some bang-up cuts that have some nice layers in them, but honestly I don’t know your face shape, you did not mention so I really do not imagine what your hair is really like. Write me back again!
