Dear Hairlaloo,
I am a life insurance online quote agent and I would like to ask for a suggestion on what type of hairstyle would suit me best. I want to look a serious and more professional. Please help me. Thank you so much.
- Candy
Hello Candy,
I would suggest to know the shape of your face before you settle on the best hairstyle that would fit you. If you have a oval shaped face, you can have any hairstyle. Best of luck!

If hair loss is caused by a impermanent situation such as taking medicinal drugs, you have tension or have deficiency in iron, the reason for hair loss will possibly halt when its cause lasts. Hair loss due to health problem may need oral antibiotics.
However, if hair loss is terrible, wearing wigs are suggested until your physician figures it out what’s wrong.
You might also consider hair transplantation. It has better improvements than the last 10 years. This procedure is effective and nicely looking naturally.

Dear Hairlaloo,
I have been obsessing over Serena’s hair lately. The one long-legged chick on my favorite show, Gossip Girl. How to achieve those perfect curls? Any ideas? I also have a long blond hair but it’s flat and so boring. Help me.
-S fan
Hi S fan,
First of all, I also watch Gossip Girl and my fave character is Jenny. Second, anti wrinkle face cream is effective, you might want to try that out as well. Lastly, you can go to a salon and ask for a digital perm. It is one of the best options I can give you. You need a professional hairstylist to do it. It may cost a lot of monies though.

Dear Hairlaloo,
I was reading weight loss success stories online and chanced upon about curly hair and age. Is it true that hair will be curlier as we grew older?
- Mary
Hello Mary,
Yes in some people. I have a natural straight hair though and I wish it doesn’t get curly when I reach 50 years old or something. But wavy hair would be nice. Teehee.

I mentioned on previous post that I had a haircut at Ystilo Salon. So I grabbed the opportunity to buy Aktuelle’s Q-Tee Coat (QTC) bottle. It gives the shine factor that enhanced brilliance and silky shine to your hair. I first discovered Q-Tee coat at Ystilo Salon. This has been their product applied on your hair right after the blow dry. It also improves the look of damaged, permed or treated hair.
Directions for use:
Distribute a small quantity of Q-Tee coat to damp or dry hair. Style as usual.
Highly recommended.

I have been wanting to have a haircut for the last couple of weeks — It’s like having the best credit repair services, but I kept on canceling it for some unknown reasons. I was thinking to go either to David’s Salon or Vivere. But today, since I was meeting up with some friends at Festival Mall, I had this wild idea to check out my first love, Ystilo Salon.
Ystilo Salon has been always my hair salon since college days. I miss the ambiance, the people, and the service so much. I even bought a bottle of QT coat. It was just sad that my favorite hairstylist was not there. I was lazy to ask the receptionist if he’s on leave or something but anyway, I love my new haircut.
No pictures, lolsorry.

Wigs can save the day
Dear Hairlaloo,
My hair has been thinning for a long time but now I think it is falling out even more. My first at work will be on Monday — I have jobs in finance and I am worried people would notice my awful hair.
I did dying my hair at salons in the past. What can i do to get it to grow back?
- Mary
Dear Mary,
First of all, I would suggest to go to your family doctor and have a thorough physical check-up. Your thinning hair and hair loss may be due to some health status that can be treated.
Secondly, until you see the physician, avoid using dye on your hair and begin using the most gentle shampoo and conditioner in the market. Treat your hair softly when combing, brushing or styling. You might want to regard looking at wigs for the meantime.
Lastly, eat a healthful diet. Nothing beats it!

I think Lindsay Lohan is always going to be the sexiest redhead ever to beautify Hollywood. So folks, who’s your most favorite red-haired celebrity?
