Dear Hairlaloo,
Can you check out this adipex review? I have a wide face and wide jaw, high cheekbones. I like having an edge because it conceals some of my face. I thought about what men want, but some want to see the scruff of the neck and some like long hair.
I am anticipating to begin my first job soon. Hopefully some of my applications will result in interviews, but I don’t want something that says that I look dull and boring.
So what haircut would you suggest that I can smooth out, dress up and rough up and still be seductive and sexy?
-mae
Hi Mae,
Do what you want and what you like and pick out a hair style that makes you happy and feel good about yourself. Never try to chase guy’s opinion of what is cute and sexy. What does a man know, anyway? Hehe. Thanks for writing.

Dear Hairlaloo,
I have thick wavy/curly hair right below my shoulders. I have some layers. My style at the moment matches a longer bob, so to say with a little shape to the face. Every time I get a haircut, I also get it thinned out. The last time I had a haircut, the girl took thinning scissors and completely screwed the middle of my head.
Also, I am sad with the shape of my hair and someone recommended to get it thinned using a razor. Any other helpful ideas?
- lady
Hello Lady,
It’s a standard procedure not to use a razor on wavy/curly hair (or any Ferrari parts, hookay, just kidding). Anyway, it really depends on your hair quality itself. If your hair is rough, you can get away with texturizing but if it is fine, it is going to make you look hairless even if you have a lot of it.
If you like your hair longer, there are some bang-up cuts that have some nice layers in them, but honestly I don’t know your face shape, you did not mention so I really do not imagine what your hair is really like. Write me back again!

While other girls search for best answers to get the most natural acne solution, I am talking about the emotional attachment of women and their hair.
You may not know this but when a woman cuts her hair, it’s not just she just wants to but sometimes there is a reason behind it. Girls chopped off their because they want a brand new life, the changing of haircut was sometimes after a really bad breakup and for a while having that hairdo described how a girl felt on the inside.
I watched the Tyra show some days ago and some chic on it had her hair done into a mohawk style. After it was all done, she started crying, not because she wanted it back but because she felt like it was an emotional experience for her, like an entire weight has been lifted off her shoulders.
Every girl I know can relate for sure!

A haircut phobia may be attached to a past bad experience. For instance, someone with a haircut phobia may have experienced tearing fear while having their first haircut as a small child. Because of this possibility, parents should do everything they can to guarantee that haircuts are an enjoyable happening for children.
A worry of sharp blades is another form of particular phobia and some people could be afraid of sharpen scissors. A fear that other people will throw jokes on your new hair may be connected to social phobias, which regard fear or anxiety in social situations where the individual might be judged by others.
In these cases, a haircut phobia may really be a sign of a greater trouble. If the condition is related to a fear of social evaluation, the person may actually be distress from social anxiety disorder. In order to keep off from solid bad damages to relationships and other aspects of daily life, these individuals need to try attention from a registered mental health professional.

Why are some people frightened of getting a haircut? I bet we have all seen small children cry as they get their first haircut. Is a haircut phobia plainly a grown-up translation of this experience? The answer is complex.
Haircut phobias are actually a kind of particular phobic disorder. Other specific phobias add things like, a fear of heights, driveway alarm, blood, dentists, and flying. Females are twice as in all probability to go through this form of psychological state disorder as males.
While many people may account undergoing such negative stimulus, a phobia involves more than just fear. A fear may be called a phobia if the fear of an object or difficulty is unreasonable and becomes so great that it causes terrible pain, rejection, and has a bad impact on the individual’s everyday life.
To be analyzed with a specific phobia, a person must:
- Have a vivid and lasting fear of an object or situation.
- Experience meaning delay in standard performance, like at home, work, school, or in relationships as a result of the anxiousness or turning away of the fear object.
- Go through prompt anxiety when faced with the fear object. This anxiety may at times step up into a panic attack.

Hair is everyone’s crowning glory. So what takes place when that hair starts to say goodbye? You may think that I am talking about men’s hair and the testosterone creams, but no, because an unexpected number of women, too, have this same problem.
Female pattern baldness involves a distinctive pattern of loss of hair. Hair mostly grows ½ inch per month and will grow for 1-5 years and then get into a period of rest before it falls out. Not long after the loss, a new hair will grow in that particularly blank position. Baldness happens when a new hair doesn’t grow in when the first hair falls out.
Common causes for this loss are change in hormones, genetic predisposition and aging. This normally happens at the onset of menopause when all hormones are in a state of change. At this time, hair on the head inclines to thin while hair on the face gets rougher. There is no new hair growth but the follicles stay alive leaving the expectation for new growth.
There is no known way to avoid female pattern baldness or male pattern baldness. On the other hand, there are ways to feel good about yourself that don’t pertain stellar life modifications. Get a good false hair if the loss of hair is really hassling you. Join a gym, get a new hobby, but most significantly feel good in your own skin.

The sloughing of dead skin cells from your scalp is a biological process, which is normal within the growing activity of the cells. Your scalp is revitalizing constantly, just like the rest of your skin. When it goes on at an unreasonable rate, however, that’s dandruff. It can occur at any age. No worries, hair dandruff has nothing to do with bad hair care. Even if you clean your hair frequently you can still have dandruff. Dandruff that falls to the shoulders can be really irritating and your self-confidence somehow get affected as well.
There are various possible causes for dandruff: Stress, bad nutrition, sleep or rest deficiency, regular use of hair gels and hair sprays, and overweening use of hot curling irons. Dandruff is worst during cold weathers and less terrible during hot season.
There is no permanent remedy for dandruff but you can try to control it. Usage of a good dandruff shampoo to can be a great option. You might have to try out different brands of shampoo before you find the one that is best for your scalp. It is significant to try out some products. Do not forget that when you discontinue the treatment of your scalp and hair with dandruff shampoo, the dandruff will come back.
In worst dandruff cases, you will need to see a skin doctor because another scalp disease could be related.
